| - I longed to do simple things |
| Source : VG |
-It came to the point where I was so busy that if I wanted to spend time with my friends, I had to make plans with them six weeks ahead.
Lene said this on Virgins Italian web-pages.
On Monday the discussion about when and where Lene will meet the press from the first time in three and a half years starts.
But on Virgins Italian sites there is a long biography with quotation from Lene herself.
It’s not mentioned when the interview was, but it seems to be quotation in connection with her new album.
She speaks about how it was to move from Tromsø to Oslo to work with music right after she’d finished school.
-In the beginning everything was so new to me and I managed to have enough energy and enthusiasm to work in a demanding rhythm. It came to the point where I was so busy that if I wanted to see my friends I had to make plans with them six weeks ahead. I started to long to spend time with my friends and do simple things as play PlayStation, party and talk with my friends, says Lene Marlin.
-I knew that my debut album represented a proof of my discipline, says Lene, who looks at “Playing My Game” as “a postcards I sent to myself in my own future”.
