| Hectic summer for Lene Marlin |
| Source : VG |
The sloughing of Lene Marlin (24) is totally! New image. New album - 'Lost In A Moment' - which is being launched in 17 countries in Europe and Asia, with TV-show, concerts, and a lot of promotion.
In Italy, there were chaotic conditions when Marlin yesterday arrived in Milan after a successful Paris visit.
There were four years between the albums 'Playing My Game' and 'Another Day'. Nobody, not even EMI Music Norway, was counting on a new album from Lene Marlin, before she suddenly stood in the doorway of EMI-director Per Eirik Johansen with 'Lost In A Moment' under the arm.
In full silence had Marlin been writing new songs, arranged them, and recorded a brand new album together with the producer-trio Stargate from Trondheim.
- We are working with lowered shoulders these days. Our attitude towards the album is relaxed. We are taking everything as a positive surprise, Johansen informs on the telephone from Paris, where EMI colleagues from all of Europe are gathered to lay down plans in front of the autumn's launches.
The new Marlin album was one of the points on the meeting schedule.
'How Would It Be' is lying in a 17. position on the official single chart in Italy, where Marlin yesterday participated in the Italian edition of the TV show 'Top Of The Pops'. Today, MTV's 'TRL Live' is waiting in Genoa.
